購入・開封直後のKindleの左上には「○○さんのKindle」と、自分の名前が表示されてしまっています。このままでは、ブログなどにスクリーンショットをアップする際だけでなく、電車内など、外でKindleを使う際にも少し気になりますね。
今回は、その左上に表示される端末名の変更方法と、ついでに登録メールアドレス（@kindle.com）の設定方法をご説明します。
「設定 ＞ その他 ＞ マイアカウント」の画面。いかにもここから端末名等を変更できそうな雰囲気ですが、実はここからは操作できません。
まず、Webブラウザからamazon.co.jpを表示し、Kindleに登録済みのアカウントでサインインします。そして、「アカウントサービス ＞ My Kindle」を選択します。
その後「Kindleアカウント」項目内、「端末の管理」を選択します。登録済みのKindleがリストになっていますので、「○○さんのKindle」の右側の「編集」を選択、名前を書き換えた後に「更新」します。すると、Kindle本体に即座に反映されます。これでいろいろと安心ですね！
また、同じく「Kindleアカウント」項目内の「パーソナル・ドキュメント設定」からは、@kindle.comのメールアドレス（Send-to-Kindleメールアドレス）が変更できます。これはAmazonに登録済みのメールアカウントに自動的に数字が追加されたようなものになってしまっていますが、シンプルで使いやすいものに変更しておくと良いかも知れません。早い者勝ちですしね！
